Shraddha Mishra, an Ex Indian Army ‘Major’, is amongst the 1st women operational paratrooper of Indian Army [1st in EME Corps of Indian Army & 2nd in Indian Army]. She was awarded “Army Commander Commendation” in 2004 & 2005. Also, she is the first women operational paratrooper in Indian Army to lead a team of Paratroopers & be part of an Operation with a Para Battalion (5 Para SF) during Operation Parakram (launched after attack on Indian Parliament) in J & K.
She is not only certified in psychological testing & has conducted psychology tests of many candidates but also has an experience of conducting 1000+ interviews. Also, she has expertise in differentiated & practical training. She also has fair knowledge of psychological patterns of learning & technology aided training. She is an alumni of St. Raphael’s H.S School Indore, Holkar Science College Indore, MDI Gurgaon & Symbiosis Pune.
After serving in Indian Army, she has also worked in corporate, as Head HR & Business Head. She worked with Pentair, Spice Retail, Metro Cash & Carry and PVR Cinemas. She is currently the Founder & Director of Star Angel Coaching, which provides NDA Coaching, SSB Interview Coaching for all entries of Indian Army, Indian Navy & Indian Air Force as well as CDS Study Material / CDS Notes.
Additionally, she is 3rd kyu brown belt in karate (Gold & Bronze medal in inter-school & district level, respectively), played till state level. Besides, voluntarily completing 32 Para jumps being an operational paratrooper in Indian Army, she has also done 60 hours flying in cessna-152 / 172 (~30 hours solo) & qualified for PPL (Private Pilot License) from MPFC (Madhya Pradesh Flying Club, Indore), before joining Indian Army. She has not only done Hot Air Ballooning, water sailing and slithering but has also done gliding & Para sailing.
